Constructions that hold up under high sun exposure

When a cap is worn in strong, direct sun for most of the day, four things decide whether it gets worn again: how much of the face and neck the brim actually shades, whether heat can escape through the crown, whether the fabric fades, and whether the sweatband stops being unpleasant after an hour.

Those four requirements point to specific builds rather than to a single house style:

  • Brim and coverage — wide-brim straw and bucket builds shade the ear and neck; a standard curved cap brim does not. Brim width is a specification, not a style preference, and we cost it as one.
  • Ventilation — mesh panels, embroidered eyelets and unlined crown builds let heat out. A fully lined cap traps it.
  • Colour fastness — pale and undyed grounds fade far more slowly than saturated darks, which matters on a garment that lives in daylight.
  • Sweatband — cotton towelling absorbs; mesh and nylon dry faster; the choice should follow how the cap is used, not what is cheapest.

None of this is a claim about what sells where. It is what the construction does, and it is the conversation worth having before a sample is made.

  • Beanies — rib knit, cuffed and cuffless, acrylic and wool blends
  • Specialty caps — trucker, snapback, dad hat, 5-panel, mesh and sports builds

MOQ and sampling

MOQ starts at 10 pcs for stock colors and sampling runs. That entry point exists so you can test a brim width or a fabric in the hand before committing to a production run — it is not the size of a typical bulk order, which we build up to 500,000 pcs per month.

Sampling takes 3–15 days from artwork and material confirmation. Sampling is a paid service; the sample cost is confirmed together with the quotation.

Lead times, in three tiers

Bulk production runs from 3 to 50 days depending on the build:

Tier Lead time What it covers
In-stock styles 3–7 days Stock colours and existing constructions
Standard production 20–30 days Custom materials, colours and logo work
Peak season / complex builds 35–50 days High-volume runs, multi-panel and multi-decoration programs

The full range is 3–50 days. Which tier applies is confirmed at quotation, once quantity, decoration and delivery window are fixed.

Logo methods and construction options

Decoration is quoted per method and per placement: flat embroidery, 3D puff embroidery, woven and embroidered patches, leather and faux-leather patches, screen print and heat transfer. On straw and mesh grounds the method is not free choice — a dense embroidery on an open weave distorts the crown, so the decoration is selected against the ground rather than applied to it afterwards.

How an order runs

  1. Brief — style, quantity, logo files, destination and delivery window
  2. Materials — fabric, colour and construction confirmed
  3. Quotation — pricing guidance within 3–15 business days
  4. Sampling — 3–15 days, paid service
  5. Approval — you sign off the sample
  6. Production — bulk run scheduled against the confirmed tier
  7. QC — in-process and pre-shipment checks
  8. Shipping — coordinated to your destination

Shipping to Egypt

Freight terms, port of entry and transit time are agreed with the quotation rather than published as a fixed figure, because they depend on volume, routing and season. Tell us which port you clear through and which documents your broker requires, and both are confirmed before production starts rather than after the goods are on the water.

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Which build suits a market with strong sun?

Start from brim width and ventilation, then choose the ground: straw for maximum shade and airflow, mesh or performance polyester where the cap has to survive washing, cotton twill where hand-feel matters more than drying speed. We will quote the trade-off rather than pick for you.

What is the minimum order?

10 pcs for stock colors and sampling runs. Bulk pricing is quoted against your target quantity, material and decoration method.

How long does sampling take?

3–15 days from artwork and material confirmation. Sampling is a paid service.

Do you ship to Egypt?

Yes — Egypt is among the 32 countries we export to.

How quickly will I get pricing?

Pricing guidance within 3–15 business days of a complete brief: category, quantity, logo file or reference, material and colour direction, destination and delivery window.
